Overview
Kashimayari is a charming, uncrowded resort situated at the southern end of Hakuba Valley, offering 15 courses with scenic views of the iconic Kashimayari peak. The resort is a hidden gem that rarely sees the crowds of the bigger Hakuba resorts, making it an excellent choice for families and those seeking relaxed skiing. The terrain covers a good vertical range from 820m to 1,550m with a nice mix of beginner and intermediate runs.
Despite its smaller size, Kashimayari offers night skiing, a well-maintained terrain park, and a welcoming base lodge. The resort is known for its excellent value, with lift tickets priced well below the larger Hakuba resorts. Nearby onsen facilities and the historic town of Omachi add to the appeal. It's an ideal resort for families and those looking for a more authentic, local Japanese ski experience.
